BANDA defeated DK on the Gulf of Everon to claim the CCL Season 4 Championship. DK mounted a strong fight despite losing a player during the match. Congratulations to BANDA and all of its players on this victory. This is the 3rd CCL crown for BANDA.

On Tuesday June 13, DK and BANDA will meet in the CCL Season 4 Championship match. This is the second meeting of these two teams in the finals. DK has made the playoffs four straight years and was last seasons overall winner. BANDA is a 2 time winner and has made the playoffs in all three seasons played here. This promises to be a great battle.

Today the CCL League released the Ultimate Mission Pack. There are 31 total missions included in the pack from all four CCL seasons, the USMC tournament, plus beta maps not previously released. The latest version of each map is included.

I just wanted to announce that this is the last CCL season for OFP.

In the beginning, we hoped that we would have a few teams join us in playing old school, non-addon capture and hold OFP. We were overwhelmed by the number and calibur of teams that signed up. Four seasons, 500+ matches and 50 teams later, the league is still going strong.

From my perspective, this league has been a tremendous success. We have had many great teams and players participate here. The play has been very competitive and always fun.

I would like to thank Dominator, USA 4 Ever and Dead Meat for helping this get started and to our current League Staff for their many contributions.

I hope that you enjoyed it too and I look forward to seeing you all again in Armed Assault. In the meantime, best of luck in the playoffs to all remaining teams, as we look forward to crowning the last OFP CCL Champion!

CCL Season 4 is now underway. Divisions have been created and the weekly schedule has been released. This season features the return of many friendly faces and the addition of a few new ones. The Admins wish all teams luck. Scheduling of matches may now begin!

This week, CCL celebrates it's one year anniversary. It started with a simple idea to relive the old days of OFP. No addons, open fields, infantry and armor, basic capture & hold maps. We talked to a few teams about the idea and we received positive feedback. We weren't sure if there would be enough teams still around who would be committed to playing a full season.

On Sunday, #DK# defeated NORE to claim the CCL Season 3 Championship. It was a perfect season for #DK# who went 6-0 in the regular season and 3-0 in the playoffs. This was the second consecutive trip to the finals for them as well.

The League Staff extends congratulations to #DK# and all it's members on this achievement. We would also like to thank all teams and players who participated in Season 3.

Registration for CCL Season 4 is now open.

Team registration for Season 4 will be accepted Saturday March 4 and regular season play will begin on March 6 . Register your teams in the Season 4 Squad Registry section of the forums.

The Classic Combat League was designed by OFP players who wanted to relive the glory days of OFP, before a vast array of addons complicated everyday play. This league features the classic style of capture and hold (C&H) OFP at it's best.

* Matches are 5 v 5 minimum
* Format is 1 game per week against a scheduled opponent
* End of season playoffs for top ranked teams
* Multi-flag capture and hold maps
* Maps are medium sized and have infantry, armor and helo's
* No G36 and no addons required (ok, you will need Editor Update but that’s it!)

The Season 3 Playoffs are now underway. There are 8 teams left competing for the title of CCL Champion. The first round map is One Road and is the first step on the road to the championship.
